Added: 12.07.2013 14:16 | 11 views | 0 comments

Drew Leachman writes: Shin Megami Tensei is a series near and dear to my heart. The main games, along with all the complimentary titles, have had me hooked for years. After Nocturne, Atlus began focusing on the spin-offs like Devil Survivor, Devil Summoner and of course Persona. Now, after almost ten years, players finally get their hands on the next numbered Shin Megami Tensei game, and the wait was well worth it.

Atlus has been well known for creating memorable RPGs that have a rather devoted fan base and while quality should never be rushed, it has been nearly a decade since the last numbered Shin Megami Tensei title was released. In that time frame they have worked on a number of Persona titles and other games, but now they have finally returned with Shin Megami Tensei IV for the 3DS. Is it everything fans have come to expect from the company that has brought us hit after hit?

Gamer Limit: "Even with its blemishes though, I really enjoyed my time with Shin Megami Tensei IV, and the demon collection and fusion system remains just as addicting as ever just dont expect it to top some of the other entries in the series, including Nocturne."

Shin Megami Tensei IV Review: An RPG well worth the wait | SnackBarGames

Added: 11.07.2013 5:16 | 11 views | 0 comments

SnackBarGames: "The Shin Megami Tensei series is vast with many possible starting points, but if youre looking for a game that sticks to the main formula and is more user-friendly than recent titles such as Strange Journey, Shin Megami Tensei IV is the game for you. Its tough but fair, and thanks to plenty of smart changes to an already proven (and quite addictive) formula, this is one of the best entries in the series to date."
